Tips
Your senior pictures should be about who you really are! Have fun picking clothes that
show your personality! Our only rule : Outfits must be parent approved! It is important
to wear something that you feel comfortable in. If you feel good, it will show in your
pictures. If you don't, that sometimes shows too. Let's not take the chance. Avoid shirts
with lots of writing on them. Solids traditionally photograph better, but that doesn't mean
everything has to be solid! Jeans or Khaki's work best on the bottom. Remember your
shoes will show! For the gals, we recommend wearing a tank top, as you may be changing
tops "on the fly". Watch out for bra and panty lines! Ladies, this is not the day to
try out a new hairstyle or make up look. You might want to test drive the hair do first,
but styling it the way you normally wear it works best. And guys, watch out for tan lines
if you get a fresh hair cut for your picture day! (Our son learned this the hard way!)
And about the make up, keep it natural looking! No glittery shadows please! It looks
great on you, but the camera sees it as a mirror. It will look like dust on your face, and
is very difficult and expensive to remove from your prints. That said, we do recommend that
you wear some makeup, even if you are a natural beauty. And lip color/gloss makes an amazing
difference! Boys: Bring chapstick! Smiling a lot makes your lips dry!
Don't worry about a photo day breakout...it happens! We will do light touch ups on your proofs, and do our best to
make your final images Top Notch!
